Awake publication standard

Identity and licensing

Awake resources use generic legal party fields and the same contribution notice. Original template text and completion guidance are openly licensed under CC BY 4.0 with attribution and change notices. Names, marks, private records and third-party materials are excluded. Externally linked forms retain their publishers and licenses. A private executed copy does not require template-publication front matter.

Editions and authority

Each new resource has canonical Markdown, a manifest record, an online reader, a reference Word/PDF edition and, for operative forms, a fill-in Word/PDF edition. Guides, license, disclaimer, change summary and contribution instructions accompany every package. Publication notices and counsel instructions sit outside operative signing text. Fields remain highlighted in template downloads until actual completion.

Counsel approval before use

These documents are general templates, not legal advice. Before using any document for any real-world purpose, every party must have their own independent legal counsel review and approve it for their circumstances and applicable law. Do not sign, rely on, or otherwise use a document without that approval. No attorney-client relationship is created.

Version labels and technical checks do not establish suitability or enforceability. Keep published editions and signed agreement records; a new template does not change an executed contract.

Quality gate

Confirm party fields, options, references, schedules, document precedence, provenance and license scope. Check public sources and document internals for private identifiers and legacy organization names. Compare text across formats, render and inspect every page, test bundles and links, and record unresolved review priorities accurately. Do not publish a stale PDF or advertise an administrative checklist as an operative instrument.
